San Francisco Veteran's Memorial
I was working on the courtyard improvements for the Veteran's War Memorial Installation project in San Francisco over this past spring. We finished in time for the Opening Ceremony on October 10 kicking off fleet week in the city. Ceremonious start before I knew this was going to be my assignment: http://www.nbcbayarea.com/ news/local/San-Francisco- Begins-Long-Awaited-Veterans- Memorial-251335141.html My company installed all improvements around the memorial in the courtyard including drains, paving, and landscaping. That's the superintendent standing in the picture here and I might be somewhere in the area behind him: http://sf.curbed.com/archives/ 2014/08/05/longawaited_ veterans_memorial_marches_ toward_completion.php It was a great experience to see it all built and attend the opening ceremony where I bumped shoulders with the SF Chief of Police (oops hahah).
